How many faces you paint in an hour?

Between 10-15 faces, depending on the detail and design chosen.

Some people can be suprised at this rate, but you break it down 10 per hour is only 6 miniutes a face for the child to get on the chair, explain what they want, get painted, look in the mirror,and get off the chair.

 

What face paints do you use? 

We use only the highest quality face painting products and cosmetic grade glitters ensuring that we deliver professional results every time. Our face paints are soft on the skin and do not crack or flake off.

 

What is the best way to remove the paint?

Most people use Baby wipes or soap and water, however some colours do stain a bit (blues, reds and greens mainly) but if  you gently rub 'no tears' shampoo or cleansing cream into the area until the makeup liquifies , then  wipe off with tissues, wipes or damp cloth,  THEN washing off with soap and water, the staining will not occur. 

 

What are your hygiene ethics?

We adhere to strict hygiene ethics at all times. We only use one sponge per child, keep our brush water clean with brush sanitizer and use cotton buds for painting on the lips.

 

CAUTION: As a parent,  you are responsible for your child, so if he/she has a skin allergy or has been exposed to contagious diseases such as chicken pox etc… please do NOT insist that the face painter paint him/her. This is not only dangerous for other children but puts the face painter in the difficult position of refusing.

Often we can paint on an arm or leg instead.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes, I am insured for up to 30 million dollars

 

Do you have a working with children's check?

Yes, I hold a current working with children's card.

 

What are your rates?

I charge by the hour with a 2 hour minimum. 

If I have to travel more than 30min to the venue, traveling costs may apply (depending on the length of the booking ) Any parking or toll costs will also added to the rate.

How long in advance should I book?

It is advisable to book asap to ensure your desired date and time is available.

Remember November/December are very busy times for Face Painters

 

What do I need to supply for the day of the booking?

Please supply me with  shade and shelter from the elements and water for rinsing brushes. 

I arrive fully equipped with my small table and chairs and face painting supplies.

 

What are your payment methods?

Payment can be made prior to the event by  direct deposit or cheque or on the day by cash only .

 

Can you supply multiple face painters/balloonists?

 Yes! Additional painters are also available if you are expecting large numbers at your event .
